These are my passions. Here’s how I got here.
Hi there, I'm Alice: I grew up in a small town dreaming of telling big stories.
Fun fact about me: I have a First Class degree in Journalism, and a Diploma in Personal Styling. It was the styling diploma that helped me secure my first presenting opportunities!
My passion for sustainable fashion led me to create The Conscious Closet, a series of online videos for BBC Scotland over lockdown. These also went out on the BBC Scotland channel and iPlayer.
Other presenting opportunities for BBC Scotland also included trialing digital clothes, wearing my jeans in the bath (!), and presenting a guide to my hometown of Elgin.
Most recently you may have seen me presenting for BBC News on TikTok and Instagram, with my videos racking up hundreds of thousands of views. This opportunity also includes chances to film out and about recording vox pops, and finding creative ways to make the news relevant for a young audience.
Now for the braggy bit – I’m an award-winning podcaster, having won the Spotify Next Wave award for my former podcast Common Threads, which was also nominated for a British Podcast Award.
I was also nominated for an RTS Scotland award, as a Producer on Social Connects, an educational project helping young media students gain real workplace-specific media skills.

I’m available for television and radio/ podcast presenting work and voiceover work.
I’m also available for public speaking opportunities. Spreading my sustainable fashion message to a packed auditorium at the National Museum of Scotland was a real highlight!
